HAPPY ANNIVERSARY MEAGAN!!!

So I don't often take the time to post, but since today was the last day of finals and my anniversary I figured why not. So this being our fourth anniversary I was supposed to give linens as a gift. We have been planning on doing our room but had no idea how. I decided to make a master bedroom makeover my gift. It was a lot of work and a great excuse not to study for exams, but it has been fun. Meagan helped with the painting and I think she went into panic mode, but as it all is coming together I think she is beginning to like it. Here are some photos. We plan on getting a new dresser to match the bed and get rid of the klunker tv (does anyone know of a cash incentive for that) and upgrade to a wall mounted flat tv in its place. Still missing a plant for the corner by the window, but it is a huge improvement from the white walls with candle suit on them!! Anyways, Happy fourth anniversary Meagan!

A Visit From my Brother

My brother Brad came to visit from Idaho this week for an interview at the University of Kentucky Med School. It was a lot of fun to have him here. We are really hoping the he gets into Kentucky and can be here with us for a few years. We took to to get some great pizza at Pazzo's on Friday night and just hung out most of the time that he wasn't checking out UK.

While Brad was here, I had him take some family pictures for us by the Christmas tree. Thank you Brad for being our photographer for our engagement photos as well as our family pics. I made a little tutu for Emy. It was super easy and I think it turned out really cute.

Ward Christmas Party

I took these pictures at the ward Christmas party and thought they were really cute. Whenever i see Emy and Brent together in a picture I always think they look so much alike.

O Christmas Tree

I love this time of year. We had a bunch of snow flurries today and it made me smile, the kids keep waiting for it to stick so that they can go out and play in it. I feel like I have been so busy the last few weeks but it has been so good. My brother is on his way here right now for an interview at UK Med. We are really excited for him and are crossing our fingers that he gets in. It would be so much fun to have him and his family here with us for the next few years. Since I had my first Scentsy party here the other night(it was a lot of fun by the way and I am really excited about Scentsy) the house has been deep cleaned and it looked pretty good tonight so I decided to take a few pics of the downstairs while it still looks presentable. We are loving our house. We have had some problems with the siding the last few days though. The weather has been pretty crazy and yesterday it was really windy, so windy in fact that we lost half of the siding on the side of our house. Once one strip got loose it just kept going until Brent got home and being the wonderful handy man that he is got out on the ladder and hammered the remaining loose siding back onto the house. We still have quite a bit missing, but hopefully we won't lose any more for the time being. Our tree. Everytime Emy looks at it she just says, "oooooh." I have been really impressed at how well the kids have been at leaving it alone. We even have a bunch of presents under the tree and the kids haven't even touched them. Here's to hoping that will last until Christmas.
Living room, you can't see the plasma TV, but it's there, oh yes, it's there.
Dining room
Kitchen, my favorite place
Dining room and kitchen. We repainted all of the downstairs and are still working on the upstairs. We love being home owners.

New Business

I took a jump and have become a Scentsy Consultant. I am really excited about this opportunity to introduce Scentsy to my friends and family. I love Scentsy products, I love the way they smell and the fact that they are safe to use in my home and won't leave any black soot all over my walls. If anyone is interested in scentsy or would like to order or set up a party through me you can click on the link on my side bar and check out my personal website. Thanks for stopping by.

Another Atlas Story

I just have to write this cute little Atlas story from the last few weeks or so. Since it was Atlas' birthday the other week I always talk to them about when they were born on their birthday, and we have also been talking about babies since my sister is expecting her 1st and we are so excited. So anyway, the other day just out of the bule Atlas said to me, "When I was in your tummy I was stuck."
I said, "You were stuck?"
Atlas said, ""I was stuck and I kept trying and trying to get out and I was pushing and pushing, but I was stuck and couldn't get out."
I said, "But your out now."
He said, "Ya."
I just thought it was a funny little conversation. It made me wonder how much he could remember. He's grown up so fast.
