For Spring Break and as Brent's graduation celebration we went on a little 2nd Honeymoon on a cruise to Honduras and Mexico. It was perfect! The kids were in the care of Gigi and Popi which made it a little easier to say good bye to them. We left right after lunch on Easter and flew into Fort Lauderdale. We got on our ship on Monday afternoon and set sail in a rain storm. We had no problem relaxing in our room and listening to the rain. Tuesday we were at sea all day which meant we spent our time eating, laying out on the pool deck, and exploring the ship. Tuesday night was formal night for dinner and there was a fun show after dinner. Wednesday we docked in Rotaan, Honduras where we took an excursion to the top of the island to do some zip lining. It was beautiful and so much fun. We even got to hold a cute little monkey. After zip lining we went to an amazing beach where we playing in the water and did some shopping. Thursday we went to Cozumel, Mexico. We took a pontoon boat to Paradise Island for the day where we had a Mexican buffet and spent our time hunting for shells on the beach and swimming. Friday was another day at sea. Everyday there was great entertainment, our favorite was a singer/guitar player named Alan Kavanaugh. We sat and listened to him as we watched the sunset on our last night. The food was amazing and abundant. It was so nice to spend some time together and have nothing to worry about. I hope we can do it again sometime and hopefully bring the kids along in the future.
