Last weekend Leilah and I took a quick trip to Utah to see family. Our main reason for going was to see my sister, Tawni, and her 3 week old twins. While we were there we were also able to see Nana and Grandpa, Aunt Katie and Reagan, Brad, Marilyn, and Hailey Gerrard, Carly Reid and her family, and my parents. It was hard to leave Brent and the rest of the kids behind but great to be able to see everyone.
Leilah was so good on the plane. She stayed in her seat the whole time and kept me company.
Our first night we stayed at Nana and Grandpa's. In the morning we went on a run/walk with Katie and Reagan. It snowed in Utah the day before we came and it was still pretty chilly that morning which was a bit of a shock to our southern blood. We bundled Leilah up as much as we could but she still kept saying, "My eyes are cold!!"
It was so nice to be able to hold and help take care of Aspen and Zoey.
Leilah was in charge of entertaining Athen and Oakley.
It was so good to see old friends and see our kids playing together.
