The Saturday before Easter Brent and I did a triathlon in Charleston. We had a sitter stay with the kids and we went up on Friday night. It was pouring rain all Friday night with scattered thunderstorms. I was already pretty anxious about swimming in a pond in Charleston that may have alligators in it. Then the sketchy weather didn't help. We almost didn't get out of bed in the morning, but we are glad we did. The rain held off for the race and we survived the gators. I got 3rd place in my age group again but we didn't stay for the awards ceremony. I love being able to race with my best friend!
