Welcome summer!

After a very intense spring weather wise, ( I spent most of April and May watching the skies and waiting for a tornado to drop out of the sky or our house to be struck by lightening) summer has finally arrived with most of the last few weeks being in the 90's. We have been spending our days at ball games and in the sprinklers or at the pool. Coen has been perfecting his baseball skills and eventhough their team didn't have a great record, he had some great hits and played well at 3rd base. He also just finished up 2nd grade with flying colors. We are all very happy to have him home for the summer.
Atlas just had his last t-ball game of the season tonight. His team was doing great and made it to the 3rd round in their tournament. Although Atlas was not the muscle of the team, he was the heart of it and did his very best to stay on his feet in the outfield eventhough he did give into temptation on a few occasions to blow flower petals into the other little girl on the teams face and write his name in the dirt. He was a joy to watch.
Emy has been spending the time outside to find every way to get dirty and I must say she has been very successful and is averaging 2 showers/day. We never know what she is going to do next, but you can guarantee that it isn't sitting still, unless she is reading a story.
Leilah had her 6 month check up last week and is in the 50% for height and weight. She has started eating baby food and loves it. She is such a good sport being carried around the town for all the games and activities. She still makes us a smile everyday.
